Los Angeles native, Gil Sharone, is highly regarded as one of the most versatile session and touring drummers in the world, who is known for his creativity, authenticity and strong pocket.
Gil is a multiple-time industry award winner, an educator/clinician, and an active member of the bands Marilyn Manson, Stolen Babies and Team Sleep. His work further extends into film and television scores from Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 2, John Wick, John Wick: Chapter 2 (including a track with Jerry Cantrell), to Netflix’s The Punisher, and Kingdom.
Possessing a unique skill set, Gil came to notoriety in the rock world as a fill-in member of +44 and a member of The Dillinger Escape Plan, Puscifer and currently Marilyn Manson. However, he is widely known as an expert in several other genres. Reggae, ska and rocksteady were part of his earliest influences along with jazz, funk, hip hop and fusion. Gil established himself in the Jamaican styles playing with legends like Eek-A-Mouse, HR of Bad Brains, and Dave Wakeling of The English Beat, which inspired
him to author an award-winning DVD and book, Wicked Beats, and recent featured performances with Slightly Stoopid and the Grammy Award winning Morgan Heritage.
